Jesse Dixon
Vice President
Jesse Dixon, Vice President of Perky Palette, brings creativity, community spirit, and a strong commitment to the arts to the organization’s leadership team. With a passion for visual storytelling and design, Jesse plays an integral role in guiding Perky Palette’s mission to make art accessible and engaging for all. Outside of his professional work, Jesse is an avid photographer who finds inspiration in the people and landscapes of West Texas. Deeply dedicated to community service, he is an active member of the Post Rotary Club and a proud recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship, recognizing his ongoing contributions to civic improvement and humanitarian efforts. Through both his leadership and his artistic vision, Jesse continues to help foster programs that connect creativity, education, and community growth across the region.
Katie Mitchell
Secretary
Katie had a passion for band and theater during her high school years and likely knows the lyrics to nearly every musical. Having attended the same high school as Angela, she was thrilled to become part of Perky Palette's mission to bring the arts to a small rural town in Texas. from Lubbock, Katie cherishes time spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She also enjoys crafts, painting, and bowling.


Sean Robertson
Community Programs Director
Sean Robertson, Community Programs Director and Grant Director for Perky Palette, holds a Master’s Degree in Arts Administration from Texas Tech University and brings both academic expertise and creative passion to his role. His leadership focuses on developing and managing community-based art programs while securing the grants and partnerships necessary to sustain them. Sean’s commitment to advancing the arts has earned him national recognition from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts through the American College Theater Festival (KCACTF). In 2023, he was selected to advance to the National KCACTF Festival as part of the prestigious ASPIRE Program, a professional development initiative that cultivates future leaders in American theater. Through his experience and dedication, Sean continues to champion accessible, high-impact arts programming that connects people, inspires creativity, and strengthens community engagement across the region.

Angela Dixon
Founder
Angela has always dreamed of establishing a nonprofit dedicated to art, as it has consistently brought her joy. She recognizes profound effect art can have on people's lives, particularly in small rural towns in Texas, which require programs to engage both youth and adults. Currently, Angela is studying Illustration and is a devoted wife and mother of four. Having lived in Texas since she was four, she has a passion for watercolor and urban sketching, recently first place for her painting of downtown Lubbock.
